Campeau Hat Trick lifts Canadians to 6th Straight Win

The Carleton Place Canadians Tier 2 hockey team were in Arnprior on Friday night for their second meeting of the season with the Packers. Four 2nd period goals in just under 12 minutes gave the Canadians a 4-0 lead and they went on to win 4-1.

Brayden Campeau had 3 goals and an assist. He is now second on the team in scoring with 7 goals in 12 games.

Oliver Carriere scored the 4th goal and also had 2 assists.

The Canadians out shot Arnprior 24-21. Jacob Lavergne improved to 7-0 with 20 saves. He has a goals against average of 2.40 and a .909 save percentage.

CPC are 9-3 and have now won 6 straight games. They sit 5 points ahead of 2nd place Westport (6-2-1) in the Richardson Division standings.

Next up is a road game against the 3rd place Athens Aeros (5-4-1). Carleton Place defeated Athens 7-3 on September 12. The Canadians return home Monday afternoon to take on Winchester (1-8).
