Jr. Canadians Play Three Road Games This Weekend

A big weekend for the CCHL2 begins Friday night with seven games on the schedule. Carleton Place (24-11-1) open up their weekend with a road game against Westport (23-11-3). The Rideaus won the first meeting of the season 3-2 on December 15th.

The Jr. Canadians enter Friday’s game on a four game losing streak, but with a win they can move into a tie with Athens for 1st place in the Richardson Divsion. Carleton Place have played two less games than the Aeros (24-11-3).

The Jr. Canadians will travel to Brockville on Saturday to play the Tikis (5-32-1). They finish the weekend on Sunday afternoon in Perth against the Blue Wings (17-15-3).

After the weekend there are only 13 games left in the regular season. The Trade Deadline has passed, and 14 of the 21 players on the Jr. Canadians roster are 17 or younger.

Ten different players have combined for 53 games played with the Jr. A team this season. Martin Templeton leads the team with 19 games played in Tier 1.
