The Carleton Place Canadians are proud to announce Steven Townley has committed to Dartmouth College starting in the 2021-22 season.
Townley, 19, is in his first season with the Canadians and in 21 games so far, he has six goals and 11 points. Prior to joining Carleton Place, he had 10 goals and 26 points in 28 games for the CP Dynamo 18U team where he served as captain in the 2018-19 season.
In committing to Dartmouth, Townley follows in the steps of fellow Canadians alumni Adrian Clark in making the trip to New Hampshire.
Dartmouth plays in the ECAC conference of NCAA Div. 1 and finished tied for fifth in the conference with a 10-9-3 record in conference play, with a 13-17-4 overall, in the 2018-19 season.
