The Carleton Place Canadians Tier 2 hockey team has acquired Alex Vala from the Richmond Royals.
Vala is a ’97 forward and has recorded a point in every game he has played this season. In 11 games he has 9 goals and 12 assists.
Vala joins Carleton Place (24-10-1), who sit 2nd place in the Richardson Division, one point behind Athens.
The Canadians open the new year at home on Saturday against the Renfrew Timberwolves (16-15-4).
